"we have a child there we report a thousand times they do not solve anything they do not want to change the apartment we have a medical sheet and even so they do not want to cancel the contract to change they want me to pay when they are the ones with the problem that is flooded with water and the staff do nothing They have lousy service and until they feel like it they send them to check for payment, still good but no solution"

"Slumlords at its finest. Lived here for under 2 years and had maintenance issues out of the wazoo, which are never fixed with a single ounce of urgency. I could write a million paragraphs about all the things we experienced but for one, our apartment flooded 3 times while we lived here. The carpet was never replaced, just “dried out” with a blower. Mold grew under the carpet as well as the padding. We’ve now transferred to The Lakes of Chateau South and enjoy being in a nice place with an awesome manager. We are fighting every day to even get in touch with Sugarmill West since apparently we are being charged for the damages in the apartment. I’ve called and emailed Sugarmill West countless times and have gotten zero information. When they actually do answer, Laura is extremely rude and uses any excuse to get off the phone and not hear what you have to say with a promise she’ll call you back but never does. Don’t waste your time moving to this property, you’ll soon regret it."

"I have had the worse experience living in this place. First, there was a leak into the living room. Then, a month later, after the walls got covered with fungus, they fixed the leak. Now, I am having the same problem in the bathroom. The leak gets worse every day, and I have to dry the floor with towels when I get home from work. Every time the people from the second floor use the shower or toilet. All that water comes into my apartment through the roof, and not just that. Now, I'm having a mushroom growing from the ceiling. That's so disgusting. I have reported this problem, and they say that they sent maintenance already and now is fixed it, but they haven't. I can't wait to get out of this place."

"I hate living here. My first night here the refrigerator went out. Washer and dryer was out for all most 3 weeks before I got another one. I’ve been complaining about my neighbor above me since 9/18. Property manager said one part of the floor was fixed. I can’t tell because it’s still too much noise. I was told I possibly could be moved to a 3rd floor unit. The noise is awful. Never heard from Property manager since. All they want is your money and can care less about you."

"Only rating 1 star because none is not an option! This has been the worst apartment to live in by far. Things break constantly and they are in no hurry to fix them. Our ac has been leaking water onto our carpet for a week and is now starting to smell like mildew. We don't have a working stove or dryer. Last week the apartment above us flooded so we have wet stains all over the ceilings. Which again, they have no interest in fixing. It's horrible living with these conditions & expected to pay the $850 rent. There are WAY better apartments in this area for the same price or better! I hope my review helps make your decision on living here because I wouldn't wish this on anyone."
