"Very RUDE. Unprofessional. They drugged me for asking questions. Nobody would answer my questions about when I was leaving. It was very first experience and they lied on my records. Even the emergency room was unprofessional. They kept me drugged for 2 days before I ever woke up. The head nurse Kelly is worst. Never again...."

"My mother was committed here after an acute bout of psychosis. The staffmembers, especially LATASHA was incredibly rude. Refused to answer simple questions. Hung up on us. Took the phone off the hook. Do not take your white relatives here. Wouldn't be surprised if they physically abuse their residents."

"This facility is a hell here on earth. No staff is up to date on any procedures guidelines or policies. Staff is rude unprofessional and have no morals. Only a certain handful of staff care about the patients and the job that they are there doing. They violated patients right, patients privacy, and I can go on and on. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET THEM HELP THEY DO NOT HELP YOU. I hope and pray that they fix this place or better yet they close this place down. If you don't have a family member that cares about you or involved in your care they will throw you in a box and throw away the key."

"If you have a loved one here, I'm sorry. No therapy or counseling offered. No accountability for the patient receiving proper medication. No response to phone calls. My only recommendation is to JUST KEEP CALLING! Eventually you will find someone who will give actual assistance. No visits are allowed due to covid, and it was very difficult to even get him on the phone. I think I called around ten times before someone actually made sure he got a phone to be able to call us. Just awful. All around. New Orleans has to get better mental health services. My heart breaks for anyone sent here and their family."
