"I went in with pain from kidney stones, and PA Taylor Murphy informed me that they would schedule a ureteroscopy (a surgical procedure to remove the kidney stones). They sent me home and advised me to wait for a call. After a week, I called them to inquire about the status, but there was no answer. I left a voice message but received no call back. I tried calling again after another week, but still no answer or response. I decided to wait for two more weeks before reaching out once more. Finally, someone answered the phone and simply said, 'Scheduling will call you,' without providing any further information or looking into it. Three weeks later (so nearly 2 months after my appointment), I received a call notifying me that my surgery had been automatically canceled on the very day it was scheduled, due to the surgery being "scheduled on the same day it was put in". I expressed my frustration and explained my situation to them. They apologized and promised they would "do what they can", assuring me that they would call me the next day. To my disappointment, they did not call as promised. After waiting for four more days, I called them back. However, this time, the doctor expressed a change of plans. Instead of proceeding with the ureteroscopy, they suggested that I undergo further scans.... So including the appointment prior to the one he scheduled the surgery on, I had been out of work and seeking help from them for about 3 months, for them to simply cancel the surgery and start over from the beginning requesting that I do additional scans. I had been paying $500 a month for insurance specifically to afford this surgery. Unfortunately, I lost my job and no longer have insurance coverage, leaving me in a difficult situation without means to pursue necessary medical care.
