"At my second appointment here I informed the doctor and nurse that I had just found out we are expecting our second child. They both seemed to have attitudes because I had my toddler with me which I thought was unusual considering the other half of this family doctors office is specifically for pediatrics. When getting my blood work done I asked to throw in a blood pregnancy test and the doctor told me she wanted to do a urine test as well and I agreed. The nurse did my urine pregnancy test and let it run while she drew my labs. While doing my labs I asked if the blood pregnancy test would be able to predict how far along I am by measuring HCG and she very rudely told me that I “need to get an ultrasound” and considering I was only 4.5 weeks at the time (I wasn’t sure my gestation due to an usual period the month before but I know now) I knew I wouldn’t be able to get into the OB until I was at least 8 weeks. The kicker of why I refuse to come back to this facility is because the nurse tells me that my urine test was negative. I said “that’s odd because I got a digital test this morning” and she continues to very rudely tell me “well ours is negative. See there needs to be 2 lines for it to be positive” as if I don’t know how to read a pregnancy test as this is our second child. She then proceeded to show me the positive pregnancy test she claimed was negative. The positive line was faint but none the less positive. The front desk lady is polite on the adult side but the pediatric lady is completely rude and unprofessional as she very loudly was on the phone calling her nephew when his girlfriend proceeded to answer the phone asking who was calling and the front desk lady very loudly for the whole facility to hear is hollering about “don’t get in my phone asking who’s calling my nephew. Imma call him whenever I want little girl…” and continued on for about 2 whole minutes hollering about nonesense. Do not recommend this place whatsoever. Would completely rather drive to lake Charles or Alexandria for better care."
