"Doctors are great if you can get past the front desk. I called to schedule an appointment and was told I would have to be scheduled as a new patient because I hadn't been in a few years. I took the morning off work and went in 30 minutes early to fill out the new patient paperwork only to be told I would have to be rescheduled until I received my Insurance card because they couldn't pull up any information with the print out I received from the website, even though I don't have a co-pay and would've had to pay the cost of the visit out of pocket anyway, and could've brought the Insurance card the following week when I received it in the mail. 2nd appt. was told they tried to call and leave me a voicemail to be there 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork, and was told they received a message that my voicemail wasn't set up...even though my voicemail was working perfectly fine and I still had the voicemail they had left from the previous appt., Needless to say, the 2nd appt. was canceled and was going to need to be rescheduled. I work in Lake Charles and this is twice that I have had to take off work early and drive to Sulphur only to be told that my appt. would have to be rescheduled. You know, your patients have busy lives and schedules too and it would be nice for these offices to realize that we can't just take off anytime we want to go to the Doctor, so the time we do set aside for this purpose is important to us. Also, I know they could probably careless if they lost a patient because they have so many, but when I told them that's okay I would just find somewhere else to go, the response I received was "okay" which says to me I'm not important to them anyway...."
