"To anyone who is straight out of school with their LMSW, please do not work at Beacon in Bunkie as your first job. Some of the staff there are great, but overall I feel I was taken advantage of as someone fresh out of school. My biggest beef with them is the doctors forcing you to do their dirty work for them by changing a patient’s discharge date without telling them and forcing us to tell them after they had already left the building."
"Best mental hospital there is !!!! This place literally changed my life. The doctors are awesome , the staff is even better. The only thing that wasn't the best was the food. Besides that I have no complaints. Never been to such an awesome place. Made me friends there for life. Not to mention the groups are awesome , there is plenty of stuff to do. Didnt even want to leave. So thankful for this place . highly recommend it to anyone needing help with there depression!"
