St. Charles Guest House

"St. Charles has a beautiful New Orleans patina! We enjoyed a generously sized bedroom with queen bed and bathroom. The breakfast muffins, breads and coffee/tea/cocoa were an added benefit! I spent my mornings sipping coffee and dangling my feet in the pool. My afternoons, waiting for my daughter to wake up from a nap, I lounged and read one of the many books on the premises. Dennis, the owner, is a master southern conversationalist and I picked his brain on a great many things. I look forward to coming back!"

"This place was so unique and exactly what you need for a basic place to stay! There is so much history in the building. The owner and staff were super friendly. The pool area is very cute along with the breakfast nook. Also loved the neighborhood it’s located. Close to the streetcar and places to eat."

"Amazing staff !! My mother and I stayed 8 days here over Easter and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!! Dennis is kind and super helpful on how to get around he is a gracious host and we felt like we were apart of the family. Robin is a fountain of information on how and where to find interesting things to do close by and she is the sweetest person and just makes you feel welcome. Taylor is the best he helped my mom when we were going to the airport at 3 am. Centrally located for anything you want to see or do close to the trolley, food, and just a fantastic place to be."

"I highly recommend the Saint Charles Guest House. It has a very cozy, period style, warm atmosphere, and I've enjoyed myself on numerous occasions at the Guest House. The breakfast area is homey, bright and overlooks the patio/ deck, pool area. Nice foliage in the courtyard. If your visiting New Orleans, stay at the Guest House, pleasant atmosphere, clean, convenient and reasonably priced!"

"A charming and peaceful place to stay. The location is great–just a short walk to Magazine St. restaurants and shops, and it's right on the streetcar line to take you straight to Bourbon St. and the French Quarter. The staff is really friendly, and the owner, Dennis, has some good stories about life in New Orleans. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit."
