Hubbard Mansion Bed and Breakfast

"Don't hesistate, just book! A home away from home, is what the Hubbard Mansion and my dear hosts became during my visit to New Orleans. I came as a solo female traveler and felt extremely safe and cared for. Ms. Sheila the hostess with the most-est, is a gem. She greets you, shows you around the mansion, prepares a lovely breakfast, gives great restaurant recommendations and is just a gem of a person. The Don (Mr. Don Hubbard) is a national treaure. He welcomed me into he and his late wife's home as if I was his own granddaughter. Every breakfast was filled with conversation, unfiltered history and laughs. And last but not least, is the honor I had to stay in such a beautifully curated piece of history. It was clean, cozy but also loved. The location is spot on. You can take long walks and look at the other beautiful homes in the district and the street car is across the street and a straight shot to the French Quarter. I left inspired and anxiously preparing my return. Thank you Mr. Don and Ms. Sheila!"

"We stayed at the Hubbard Mansion for two nights while visiting New Orleans. It was absolutely incredible and I would recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast to any visitor! Sheila was a fabulous host who showed us around the beautiful property and gave us some history on the area. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious (my fav was the tomato/onion quiche and homemade scones :)). The rooms had so much character and it was a pleasure to chat with the other travelers at breakfast. It is an absolutely gorgeous home. The location is ideal, right outside a trolly stop and there is also parking for guests with a car. We will recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone who visits NOLA and look forward to visiting again!"
