"The house was awesome and great to stay in! We had 8 people there and there was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy hanging out together. Close to the streetcar for easy transportation downtown and a Walgreens across the street is very convenient! Highly recommend for a a group of up to 12 people to stay in!"

"My wife and I own and operate a vacation rental property so we try to stay in vacation properties when we travel. The experience for the dollar paid was outstanding. An older home but very clean and very hospitable owners. Comfortable bed and clean bath rooms. Coffee available in the morning. Outstanding location. We plan to stay with them in the future when traveling to New Orleans. Do not hesitate to stay here."

"This home is absolutely beautiful!!!! I would recommend it to anybody. It definitely had the "New Orleans" style. It was in a great location and very family/kid friendly. Lots of restaurants close, as well as the trolley. There was plenty of sleeping room for all fourteen of us! We felt very safe and spent lots of time on the front porch."

"Stayed at The Okra Inn for 4 nights. The owner, Lindsay, is very nice and gave us great suggestions for coffee and restaurants. Decor is very charming and the house is older but cute. Love the art. We had a shared bathroom but it was never a problem with the other guests across the hall. It's nice that we had access to a kitchen, unfortunately we did not have the chance to use it. When we had questions about something, Lindsay helped us out in a timely manner. It seems like some of the other reviews posted did not address their concerns to her so they did not have a good stay. We would love to stay here again the next time we return to New Orleans."

"Had my wedding in New Orleans and rented the whole place with friends for a fun weekend. Street car is nearby for easy access to French Quarter plus a lot of great local spots just steps away. All 14 of us were very comfortable, would stay again. Thank you Lindsay for being so accommodating. We couldn't have had a better time."
