"Not sure what happened today when we went in for the first time ever.. I think it was Betty Jo who helped us (I don't even think I can call it helping though!) We went to Cricket's Pool Supply first.. they had a sign on their door saying they were "closed today for unseen circumstance" so we had to pick somewhere else, we picked Sabine and it was a mistake and waste of time. We live far so we took a sample of water before we left and were hoping to handle getting supplies we needed to fix our green pool. My husband was injured on Father's Day so our pool rapidly declined as I took care of him and struggled taking care of the pool by myself. We tried to tell the lady who didn't seem to understand our particular problems, to no avail. She continued giving poor and unorganized advice. She used a 10th of the bottle of pool water I brought in and I needed the rest of it in case I needed to go somewhere else. She began to pour it out, and I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. Her main focus was we needed to turn the return valve "eye" pointing along the wall, upward to the top of the water, which is fine except.. we don't have an "eye" on our return valve. After telling this woman the facts of our pool, she argued with us over and over, that we indeed have an eye on the return valve on our pool and it's just hard to see and hard to turn.. while my husband standing on crutches and I were in disbelief that she was arguing and adamant with us about this "eye" while I'm thinking in my head.. "I could just buy one from you guys and this could be over" she would NOT listen and did not sell me anything, just argued about it! Then tried to tell me (as I was gathering my 4 young children and giving my husband the "I'M DONE WITH THIS LADY AND STORE" look..) that I needed to go buy a PVC pipe (like the one she grabbed off the wall of poles), at a hardware store and drill a small hole at the end so I have a long pole.. I told her I have a long adjustable pool pole already and she insisted I get a PVC pipe from another store in case I need it for winter?!?!! (again not trying to sell me something from her own store) I grabbed the ridiculous papers she put together off the counter and told her nevermind we didn't need to buy any supplies or pump today, we left and went straight to All Seasons (which was the best decision I made all day!) We will continue business with them instead! We bought everything from All Seasons today! She wasted my time and did not act like the wonderful Christian music playing inside the store, that myself my husband and all the kids were singing to. Unfortunate. Maybe a team meeting, and a little training could change your profit made."

"Purchased a small pool from the 'big box' store and visited April and Witney (Hope I spelled that right) at the Congress location. The staff was very helpful in explaining to me what I needed to do for pool maintenance. They tested my water and gave me an outline of proper pool maintenance and helped me choose the correct product. I will return to Sabine for my pool needs."
