"The good... there are plenty of restaurants to get food from near this hotel, the air conditioner worked well, and Bass Pro Shops is just behind it. The bad...the room was filthy, and the bed wasn't very comfortable at all. I refused to walk on the floor barefooted. The linens didn't look clean, but we were lucky to have some comforters we were using to cover furniture we were moving and decided to use them to sleep under instead of the sheets. The door had a massive gap at the bottom that many small critters could fit through, and several of the guests apparently had been living at the hotel for quite a while. If you are thinking of staying at this property, you might want to consider a different property if it's only for a single night."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Security on the door was a little sketchy. The part that keeps the door from opening if one was to have an intruder was nailed to the trim and the trim was loose enough that I was concerned about accidentally breaking it if I opened the door and forgot it was out. I'm not tough or scrappy and I would have made different choices if I had been alone, but I had my bodyguard so we stayed the night and no one bothered us. The truck stop traffic is not a problem unless you are just digging for things to complain about."
