"I called another hotel before I made my reservation here. I decided not to go with the other hotel due to their price. The rate changed 3 times during the conversation. With the Holiday Inn, the first price given was so good, I didn’t have to haggle. Upon arriving, the check in was a little backed up but the front desk clerk was so apologetic and polite, the wait was not a problem. The room were nice, clean and quiet. We were headed to the casino later in the evening and another employee became our photographer. She took so many pictures for us that we were amazed. Overall the experience was great and my husbands 55th birthday went off without a hitch, thanks to good old southern hospitality."
"Very check in staff. The hotel is old and needs updating. My family didn't feel comfortable using the shower, looked dirty and missing light bulbs. Some holiday inns recognize members, not here. We came in at 10pm and could have used a few waters. No snack area, only vending that only took cash not credit card. I would not stay here again."
"The hotel was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The hot breakfast was great. The rooms were pretty, but smelled of mildew (they are old). The shower had a hard v-like curve in the bottom, so you had to stand like you were surfing. The beds had lovely linens, but were very firm. The pillows were plump and there were two guests. They saved the day. All in all, we would stay here again, but may bring a mattress topper."
"We were traveling back to Florida from New Mexico and this place was right off the highway. It was clean and kept up. Night desk clerk was friendly. Rooms were good, comfy beds, showers were nice and hot. I did love that they had Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. We were up early and they had a good little breakfast with lots of options for picky eaters. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling."
"Elijah is absolutely fantastic! So friendly, informative and efficient! Such a pleasure after traveling all day. We got the jacuzzi suite, genuinely enjoyed it, the jacuzzi was big enough for two adults and lots of hot water. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room as well. Clean,well stocked bathroom with plenty of towels. Definitely recommend if you’re traveling through Lake Charles , it’s conveniently right off the interstate. Felt safe and comfortable inside and out."
