Farm Bureau Insurance

"I have been with this Insurance company for a couple of years. (Most) every time I have called to request to speak to my agent (C) he would not return my calls. The lady who answers the phone would first say he was in. She would then say may I ask who is calling. I would give her my name. She would then ask what it was in reference to? I would say my excessive rate increase over 200.00 for my auto insurance. She would then ask me to hold. She then would come back on the line and say he was not in. I left (many) messages. My agent would not return my calls. They have left me with no choice but to leave their company and do business with another company who will answer the customers questions and return their phone calls. This is so very sad. Really its unacceptable. Just look at the OTHER REVIEWS and you will read some of the same patterns that I experienced. I HOPE that this will not be your experience."

"I have auto draft and back in March, my auto draft stopped. When I noticed that my payment wasn’t going through, I called them about it. I was told all I had to do was reinstate my insurance which I did. Later, I get a letter in the mail showing a delinquent debt from the DMV for a lot of money. I called Farm Bureau back and asked, yet again, why my payment had stopped coming out when it did. I was told they stopped payment because my account had been “hacked”. The same account that you’re still taking your ACH payment out of? The same account that is currently still open? That account? I tried to get in touch with my agent and was told he relocated to a different store and on two separate occasions was told that he’d call me back. I have yet to hear from him. I’m still trying to resolve this situation currently. I feel as a customer who has been with them for almost 2 years paying on time every month, this situation is not being handled well at all."

"Edit: They never do what you ask them to. It's a bunch of idiots who work there. Don't bother getting insurance from a lousy company!! The worst insurance company around. Why was my husband charged TWICE on two SEPARATE bank accounts? They have a bunch of incompetent idiots in that office."

"Been with Farm Bureau since I started driving 34 years ago and never had any issues but for the last couple years this place has gone downhill big time, never can talk to my agent guess she is busy with other things, I sure miss Mr Alan at least he was there to talk to when I needed something, not sure if they are going out of business or what buy there zero customer service anymore."

"Be careful when getting a quote from this office. I asked then for an auto insurance quote in June, and today I received a letter from the DMV claiming I didn't keep coverage with them since September. I never had coverage with them, only a quote, and now my license has a pending block because of this quote. The office was unable to be of any help."
