Varsity Sports Lakeview is a premier store located at 525 Harrison Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana. It has become a lifestyle for many, offering individualized gait analysis and custom shoe-fitting for runners and walkers in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Our highly-trained staff, including lifelong runners and medical professionals, are dedicated to helping you find the perfect fit for your athletic needs.
Our store is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm, Saturday from 10am-5pm, and Sunday from 12-4pm. Founded by Jenni Peters, a former member of the U.S. Track and Field team, Varsity Sports has quickly become a hub for the local running community. We are proud to have been recognized twice as Runner's World Magazine's "Best Specialty Running Store in the Southeast Central Region."
In 2007, we expanded our services to the Northshore of Lake Ponchartrain in Old Mandeville, and in 2010, we opened a store on Magazine St. in uptown New Orleans. Our newest location in the Lakeview neighborhood is just a short distance from the New Orleans / Jefferson Lakefront and City Park, making it convenient for all active individuals in the area.
