"I went with a friend and we both thought there were some good and some bad things about our experience. Overall, the experience was better than a typical nail salon experience -- not as good as a spa, but at a good price. The good: it is well laid out and well decorated. We got in and out fast. The polish looked better than when I do it myself (but not as good as I'm used to when I get it done at a spa). The bad: they cut rather than push your cuticles. I don't love that because my fingers burn afterward. We felt rushed through (in fact, they switched the manicure we had reserved to an express manicure without asking... but it was cheaper so we didn't complain). I think some people might think this is a great salon, especially if you're expecting a strip mall nail salon. I won't be back because they had a sign on the door that says they don't provide men's services. Aside from that seeming odd, it means that my husband and I can't go together. So, I am on the lookout for another spa. If you want someplace affordable that you can get in and out of quickly, then you might love this place."

"I’ve now been to Zaza about half a dozen times and felt it was officially reasonable to leave a review because of my consistent experiences. The verdict? Pedicures are fine but skip the mani. Without fail, every single time I have gone, I’m given an express manicure no matter what type of manicure I asked for. During my most recent visit (and others before it) my nail polish application was inconsistent, not always covering my nail (standard polish on medium length natural nails) and most recently with a bubble-filled topcoat. Before the polish at my most recent visit I received a new type of prep; rather than having my cuticles pushed back and trimmed, the top layer of my nail near my cuticles was scraped off like shredded coconut. Very literally induced me to cringing. I was also actively bleeding when I left from an aggressive cuticle trim. My attempts make eye contact with a staffer to ask for my bubbly nails to be remedied were unsuccessful so I ultimately just paid and left, but I’m officially done with manicures at ZaZa. Despite consistently disappointing manicure, I’ve had a pretty decent luck with pedicures. I may continue to use them occasionally for pedicures given how comfortable chairs are and nice the ambiance is overall."
