"i’ve never had a bad experience here until today. i went to get my retainer fixed, because i had bent it on accident and it fit funny in my mouth. the ortho comes up to me and spoke to me in a rude tone, telling me that my retainer was “not salvageable because i had not been wearing it.” i am very responsible for a 16 year old and have worn my removable retainer ever since i received it. i did not appreciate the attitude and the assumption that i had not been wearing it. instead of them fixing the retainer, they told me i would have to get a new one, as my retainer was no longer salvageable. i didn’t have a parent with me, so i had to pay $150 for a retainer when my old one could easily have been fixed. they gave me the option to not pay the money today, however, i don’t like not wearing my retainer. i am not satisfied to say the least and i’m very disappointed."
