"I am a lien holder on a vehicle that was towed by this wrecker service. He claimed a guy (unknown and not owner) said he could have the vehicle when he arrived to tow it. Willis towing had no record and never notified legal owners. I found out through the legal owner that he had the vehicle. I went to pickup vehicle and he was the rudest person ever. I ask why he did not notify like required by law and he got mad demanded cash when he saw I had a company check. He went up on the price and I called the police and he locked me in the storage lot. The police chief defended these actions and would not even look me in the eye. Police said it was a civil matter and pay cash if I wanted my car. In my 25 yrs in the car business, I have never had a worst experience! Investigators are working on whether this is some kind of theft ring."
