"I wasnt going to post anything until I knew for sure but my personal suggestion is to NOT go to the dentist on the square in Center. My reasoning behind this is, I went there and had a cleaning done in december and she told me that one of my fillings was cracked and needed to be replaced. It wasnt bothering me but I figured I'd get it done before it did. I went in and had the filling replaced a couple of weeks ago and she put a composite filling in it. I thought it was odd because it was a back tooth but I went with it. Immediately after I had horrible pain so I went back and she checked to make sure the bite was correct and filed it down some. I dealt with the pain that got worse over the weekend and went back that following Monday. She checked it and put me on steroids for a week and it helped somewhat but the tooth still hurt like crazy anytime I would eat or drink anything. Thats when I decided to not go back there and go back to my dentist in mansfield. I went in to see him today and ended up having to have the tooth pulled. As he was doing this he had to break the tooth apart because he was having a really hard time getting it to turn loose. The assistant even said that there was still decay under the filling itself and the pain would have never gone away and would have needed a root canal or removal anyway. She said that some dentists will use composite filling in the back without asking you first because they can bill you and your insurance more for it and its not as strong as an amalgam filling so it would have to be replaced in no time anyway. Needless to say, my family and I WON'T be going back to the dentist on the square in Center."
