Since its inception, Bergeron's Boudin & Cajun Meats has grown significantly, expanding to multiple locations across Louisiana. From its humble beginnings, the restaurant now boasts a 7,000 square foot restaurant and meat market in Port Allen, as well as affiliated locations in Shreveport, Bossier City, Covington, and Gonzales. "When I walked into Bergeron's, I smell the aroma. It makes really hungry thinking about what food to eat. I love that there's specialty meats for you to purchase. In this photo: Venison burritos, pepper jack chicken bite, pepper jack boudin ball, and bacon wrapped chicken popper. Everything taste delicious. I had a venison burrito for my first time and you are going to need your own! It's too good to share. They don't miss on the flavor. I can taste the seasoning. It'll be put you to sleep afterwards. Employees are friendly every time I visit. I haven't tried to the sides or food plates because burrito is my comfort food. But I guess I need to do that at some point!"
"This place has amazing everything we ordered. The pepper Jack boudin balls and egg rolls were great. The cracklings were by far the best on this trip. If you stop in Baton Rouge this is the place to go."
