"Always a great spot for a quick eat. Just inconsistent saltiness. But worth it."

"The gumbo has no flavor with few chicken scraps and burned roux flavor. The jambalaya was smush brown rice with no sausage or pork and very little chicken. I will not return."

"This place has gone to the ground, I asked for paper plates and the only attendant there just threw them on the table , the worst jambalaya I ever tasted, very mushy and stuck together. We just walked out not caring to loose money paid"

"Fish was good. The rest was lacking. Potatoe salad needs help. Small salad needs to be fresher. The pastalaya was not it. Presentation is everything even for a place with food on the cheaper side."

"3 stars for being pretty cheap, but food was really salty (and I generally like salty food). Tried the daily special which was a shrimp stew, side of corn, and side salad. Banana pudding was solid. Would’ve gotten the namesake dish (jambalaya) since I’d assume that’d be the best, but they were out."
