"Inconsistent with the checking of identification. Told I couldn’t use LA wallet app when I thought that businesses were required to accept it (or at least it said so when I took the ATC training back in august). Seems like this place makes their own rules whenever they feel like it to convenience themselves."
"It's 10:30 on a Sunday night. I see 3-4 workers walking around and the doors are locked and they informed me they are closed. When I asked why the girl smiled and shrugged her damn shoulders. Not sure how the owner can afford to pay employees when they not serving customers."
"*****CUSTOMERS!!!***** If you are looking for an early morning stop for coffee breakfast and fuel going to or from work, don't waste your time here. You are better off driving a couple of minutes out of your way than to try your luck here. ***OWNER/FRANCHISING SUPERVISOR*** This location is supposed to be open 24/7. Every morning I've stopped between 4am-6am, the doors have been locked. I gave the benefit of the doubt (well over a year ago) the first couple of times, assuming the employee was alone, etc. requiring a locked door to ensure safety. This morning, once again, I arrive to find the doors locked with the parking lot packed... I wasn't in a rush, so I decided to hang around out of curiosity and observe the place. 1.) I watched two employees walking around inside the store. That eradicated my theory of only one person at the location, causing a safety concern. 2.) My thoughts about the possibility of the store being locked for the overnight shift, and opening after shift change was also disproved because of the various times I have stopped over the last year. 3.) Figured since I was sitting here watching, I may as well call the employees inside the store to see what they would say about it. After FOUR attempts, I finally see an employee walk over and pick up the phone. I was informed they were closed. I asked why when it's supposed to be 24/7 and was told they couldn't open the doors without a cashier. 4.) While still on the phone, I asked why they couldn't at least inform everyone waiting outside that the store was closed due to lack of coverage (a note on the door would've sufficed). She said, and I'm paraphrasing; they were too busy doing their own stuff to worry about the customers. 5.) I politely let her know that a vendor was also waiting to make a delivery, and was told... AGAIN...that they wouldn't open door for them as well because they had nobody to run a register (what does that have to do with allowing a vendor to make a delivery, so they can continue on their way with their job?). I'm a loyal Racetrac customer, when this happens, I typically just stop at another location along my route. I can't even begin to imagine how many customers you lose there due to this happening so frequently. To give you some perspective on how frequently this has been occurring at this store... In the last SEVEN mornings, I stopped at this location five times. Of those FIVE mornings, I was met with locked doors THREE TIMES. You may want to review the schedule and find the staff who is locking your store, and trace them back on cameras to see just how long they have been doing this. Your inside sales alone should be a definite paper trail of what is transpiring."
"Store is suppose to he open 24hours 7 days a week I arrived at 4:00 am to grab some breakfast I could see the people inside but the door never opened. This place has nothing butazy people working here! It's 5:10 am and still hasn't opened!opened! There was a whole crowd of people trying to get it."
"Open for business unless you need the bathroom. Their generator only has enough power for the pumps to sell gas, the refrigerators to sell cold drinks and ice, the food prep machines to keep food hot, and the registers to take your money. They just can’t get the power to stretch enough to power the toilets. They also can’t spare the water for the toilets bc they need it for the coffee machines and the slurpy machines. And no you cannot bring your own water to use the toilets. The employees were up in arms when I mentioned all this. The bathrooms must be closed to them too I guess. Since they’re there all day. Doesn’t matter if you’re an emergency relief worker or not. Your efforts are wasted here. Go use someone else’s bathroom. Racetrack and it’s employees want your money but that’s about it. They have no capability of getting a toilet to flush. Even if you bring your own water. The employees actually yelled at me for asking and then taking pictures for this review. Oh and power and water has been restored to this specific spot. It was one of the first areas to be restored"
