Chili's Grill & Bar 2227 Tanger Boulevard, Gonzales, LA 70737

"First and foremost, this is of no fault to our server… however, if its the only place in town where there isn’t a wait… there is a reason for that. 3 margaritas and 3 shots. Our bar d took 20-25 minutes, and had dirty ice when received (like visible dirt/bugs/unknown)… we sent them back, and received drinks with dirt a second time… at which point, we decided we weren’t having cocktails tonight. Then ordered 3 steaks. Two sirloins and a ribeye. The sirloins were great, griddle marks, cooked good, all set. The ribeye was grey and rubbery. Had definitely been microwaved rather than cooked. Manager was apologetic, server was apologetic. But then, we attempted to order a whiskey neat and a beer, was never put in or received. That’s $120 (plus tip) that we will never get back for a terrible experience. EDIT: 10 months later… So we gave it 10 months, thought perhaps this restaurant had turned itself around and because this time, it had patrons and a wait, which is usually a good sign… it was not. This time I gave it an extra star because the sweet manager on duty ended up comping our bill and acknowledging that our server had been thrown on the floor without proper training due to a significant amount of turnover. Requested water, took 15 minutes and only half the table had waters brought. Chips and salsa were brought but no ordered skillet queso. Bar drinks took AN HOUR!!! — I should add, our primary drinks were not served for 45 minutes, they were all incorrect… And the people making and serving the drinks do not have a comprehension of alcohol and believe an old fashioned to be comparable to a margarita and also think that there is no possible bar replacement for Cointreau?!?! — we received our food, an hour after ordering, and our sides were cold. We had a vegetarian colleague with us and his food was cold, chalky and tasteless (with that being the only option at Chili’s for him to eat)."

"My co-workers and I decided to stop here for dinner. Which was a waste of money and a big mistake. The waitress was extremely rude like she just didn't want to be at work. Then our food and the entire order was messed up. So we asked to speak to the manager. The managers attitude was worse than server. It was almost like how dare us complain. This restaurant has the worse atmosphere all the way around.Then to top things off had to pay for this dry greasy food. Then as we were leaving.You see the same manager standing in the back getting high with several employees.What kind of restaurant is he trying to run. No wonder our order was messed up. Everyone working is high.One star is to high of a rating."

"I love this place. My family and I enjoy our experience when we come dine here. Somehow always end up with the same waiter. He is super chill and awesome. Makes our time there great and a smile on our faces."

"The service was slow, but I guess that's to be expected these days. Everything was good, with the exception of the ribs that were overcooked and dry. The end was very hard and tough to chew. My favorite was the Street Corn which was sweet and flavorful. The waitress was very nice."

"We had a great experience with our to go orders Friday night! Online ordering was super simple and our to go orders were perfect. Presentation was neat, food was great and staff friendly. We really appreciate it. It's been a while since we visited this location and wouldn't hesitate to do it again if service stays this way!"
