Chicken Express

"Visiting for spring break, I figured I’d just throw a pin on the map and eat where it landed. Lucky for me, it was here! I’ve never been to any Chicken Express restaurants, and honestly, I’d probably go again. The biscuits were to die for, perfectly buttery, fluffy, if not a little small, which is really my only complaint. For the cost, the portions are quite tiny, I got the #1 with some cheese sticks, and the total was almost $13, which amounted to 4 tiny chicken strips, 90% of which was breading. They were delicious, but I would’ve considered them more nuggets than strips. Only 2 mozzarella sticks per order, a tiny cup of gravy, and a little biscuit. Other than that, the service was great, wait time wasn’t too bad, friendly atmosphere, IMO, kind of underrated. I think I ended up getting like 2 or 3 extra biscuits. If you go, try the sweet tea, it tasted super fresh, and was perfectly sweet. All in all, I personally really enjoyed my experience here, and if I’m back in the area, I’ll likely give it another try!"

"I normally LOVE this location, but only when the sweet lady is serving at the window. She is ALWAYS so sweet and friendly and takes great care in every order. However, I went 2 nights ago (she was not there) and it was all younger people and it was terrible. Chicken barely had any crunch (sorta like Churches original) and what little it had was way over cooked. The spicy strips looked very different than normal and not much spice at all! I ask for 1 unsweetened & 1 sweet of course both unsweetened, cold jalapeño poppers, the topper for the whole order was our rolls had dirty spots all on the bottom. That tells me they used dirty pans (LAZY) Then just when I thought it could get worse the actual roll that came with my box had my gravy on top of it and was smashed to a flatten nothing. Please at least schedule a responsible crew leader that can make sure they do a better job."

"Bridge City, TX Chicken Express Went through the drive thru, so I guess I should have expected my order to be wrong. The fish is suppose to come with hush puppies and I ordered a roll on the side, no hush puppies no roll, I also ordered chicken livers, burnt beyond recognition, absolutely disgusting. I can not believe that a business let this garbage go out their window."
