"A small, but clean and well maintained park. It has a gazebo with tables, uncovered tables and benches, lawn, veterans memorial, trash cans and a nice play structure for children. Plenty of free paved parking. The library, a museum and electric vehicle charging stations are next to it. Didn't see any restrooms, but the library has clean well maintained restrooms."

"This is our favorite park in town to come with our toddler. I like that I can park and that the playground is right there. We usually also go to the library since it is right there. Ask so near Cathedral Coffee and Bamford Bakery for treats. The park has a huge spray park we hope to use this summer, skate park, playground, big field and a covered area."
"Scappoose 100 yr celebration was held here. It had 2 locations. Heritage park and Veterans park. Heritage park was poorly attended. I think because of the heat (103° on 8/13) the park was nice. On Saturday 8/14. There wAs a parade, 10k race and a show n shine at Veterans park. A fly over, that wss pretty cool. All in all the event was dissapointing for the vendors"
