"I like it it is very nice there but Google map took us to a house so if you are driving on highway 30 you turn on Mill road and when you reach a railroad crossing sign turn right and first thing you will see is the fee pay station I provided a picture where you need to turn right so you don't miss it and keep going according to the map"

"What a great beach! Be sure to follow the road signs and NOT Google maps once you get close, otherwise you’ll end up at a random house. We arrived around 5pm on a 100° day and drove to the left once entering the park. There were people there, but it was in no way packed. You’re able to park practically right on the beach. It was awesome being so close to the car to grab snacks and supplies. The water was clean and perfectly sandy - no rocks! We brought our dog and kept her leashed the entire time (beach rule) but definitely saw plenty of other dogs unleashed. Everyone seemed to act responsibly and keep the place clean during our visit, which was refreshing compared to other river spots. It’s in a bit of an industrial river area, but we had no issue with that. Also worth mentioning, you’re required to pay a $5 parking fee on arrival. They were out of payment envelopes though, probably due to the heat and popularity of the park on the day we chose to visit. We wrote a note to stick on our dash explaining that there were no payment envelopes, but no one ever came to check. I’d gladly pay the fee next time though. Totally worth the $5 for a safe, clean, and relatively empty river experience. So glad we stumbled upon this place!"

"Keep it clean. Pack it in pack it out! If you get stuck here contact the park host or on Facebook look up oregon off road recovery. Join the group send a location and help will be there. Get a pass because it's a pay to play park. If you don't it's not going to be good for you but very expensive. Don't mess around and win expensive prizes."

"Immediately upon entering this Park a leash-less dog jumped up on my car and left a few scratches. Turns out it's the caretakers dog. Once I spoke with said caretaker, he seemed to care more about seeing my day pass. He did offer to "buff out" the scratches though. I suppose one can't expect much common decency anymore."

"Nice place to walk my dog along the beach most days. Roads are dirt with lots of potholes. Can be crowded fishing days. The park used to be free but now there is a fee to park. They have not made any improvements so why do they charge now? If there was no fee I would give it 4 stars."
