"Absolutely love going for walks here. I have visited in every season over the past year and each one has something to offer. Look up at the towering trees, look down at tiny fungi, look out for wildlife. Always a fantastic adventure. There are restrooms, water fountains, maps, a couple picnic tables and an indoor information and learning center at the main entrance with a decent amount of parking. Other access points as well that I believe at least one is close to a public transport stop. There are benches along the way if you want or need a rest. The main walking path is paved with a few boardwalk bridges and some side paths that are not paved (some spots a bit muddy after rain). There is a pond that has lilies in the warmer months. Last summer the water level got pretty low but it was cool to see what's underneath the lily pads that are usually just seen floating atop the water. Anyway you should go, I'm sure you won't regret it!"

"Great place for a nature walk! Once you enter, you feel buffered from the city as you walk past trees and streams and ponds. Portions are paved and unpaved. You get to choose to stay on the path or venture into other areas. Ample parking. It was winter, so no insects bothered us."

"A beautiful park within walking distance of Nike. Many trails available that feature plenty of benches. Bathrooms are available at entrance. Not a dog-friendly park so best to keep puppers at home. I personally like going during the rainy season. The wild life and fungi are more active! Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, trails and bridges can be slick."

"There are so many parks in the Portland area, do not overlook this gem! A gorgeous walk or easy jog, dense biodiversity, lots of cool events. One of my favorite places. It takes me about 30 minutes to jog the perimeter of the park, more if I stop for pictures or just to admire the views. ***The signs are a little confusing for me to read! Definitely snap a pic of the trail routes before you head in****"
