"I've been coming to this Michael's for over a decade now. It's stood the test of time, and has managed to keep up with the times, unlike the Joanne's nearby. Michael's always seems to have good deals, and their self-checkout process is nice."

"I really struggle with bad customer service. Specially when it’s from the younger crowd. This store is hiring young kids but is not giving them sufficient training in customer service. Not only that but it’s really inconvenient that they don’t offer 8 cent bags, and that they require you to buy their tinny 55 cents bags. 1. I asked the cashier to wrap my Christmas items and she “had to ask the manager” if they are allowed to paper wrap items. That to be was ridiculous. If a customer is asking for a very routine and common ask then they should accommodate 2. My cart was absolutely packed (I bought $300) worth of stuff, yet the cashier wasn’t able to use her common sense to help me out with a big bag, she even mockingly told me “no bag, unless you use our 55 cents ones” I would have paid over 10 dollars on just bags, and still had to carry items myself because the bags weren’t big enough My biggest complain is honestly the service. If you want to higher kids and put them in customer facing positions, please train them on commons sense and customer service."

"I couldn’t wait to review this Michaels craft store location, after the awful experience I had at the Juanita location on 10/21/2023. Ok, so yesterday morning, I called the store just as it was opening, I talked to Robin regarding three items I wanted for a couple simple holiday craft for my 5 grandchildren. She confirmed she had the items however the system doesn’t let you buy the last one quantity of any item, she explained, told me how to go online and and place my order for a in-store pick up. She told me she would hold the last ones with my order for purchase. Fast forward to my pick up and my second purchase of the day that evening. I was met with Morgan she helped me find the big jugs of acrylic paints I needed to paint all the “unfinished” wood items I bought for the littles. After I got the paint and brushes , she helped me pick up my online order. I took my paints, brushes and the last couple items I need to buy and was helped with Nicky. (I hope I got everyone name spelled correctly) I had a great experience all three times with all three employees. They were all very helpful, informative and gave suggestions regarding the coming projects. This is now my “home” go to store, it’s worth a extra time and miles, to be treated so kindly. I highly recommend this location and their staff, 5 stars. Thank you guys for taking care of me and I’ll be back to buy the sealer after the kids are finished painting their project. "Recommend place for home decors and has good collection for kids drawing items. Painting related items collection is fantastic and has lot of varieties. They have 40% discount on regular items purchase and it covers most of the items."
