T-Town MMA/Checkmat Tacoma is the premier destination for Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Kickboxing in Tacoma, Washington. As Tacoma's longest-standing school for MMA, BJJ, and Kickboxing, we have been serving the community since 2006. Our core mission is to positively impact the lives of our members through the practice of martial arts. When you join our team, you become part of our family.
At T-Town MMA, we offer a variety of programs to help you achieve your fitness and martial arts goals. Our classes range from beginner to advanced levels in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu. We also have a strong emphasis on supporting women in martial arts, with women's only instruction offered twice a week. With a kid's program available, T-Town MMA is the perfect place for the whole family to train together.
