"Word to the wise, despite local hardware stores selling all sorts of mailboxes only the PO decides the what, where, and how of your mailbox--not you. Don't be like me! Check with the PO first. I want to support my local PO, but they are making this harder than it needs to be. It's on us to uncover all these hidden rules, it's on us to fix our equipment that they require us to have, and at the end of the day I was made to feel as if it was my fault that my box (which the previous owner installed) broke."
"Amazon uses them for delivery, but they won't deliver to your front door... So if you have a package, that's bigger than a tiny mailbox than you'll have to go pick it up at the Post office anyway. So what's the point of having Amazon delivery? If they use the united states postal service that will not deliver? Good? Good question, good question, good question.. Just another bunch of lazy government employees..."
