"I would give zero stars If I could. I would not recommend Larry Merrifield. He let my respondant use only family members as character witnesses in his investigation; even though the rules were specific you could not use family. He had only 1 short interview with me that lasted about 10 minutes. He never subpoenaed medical records that were crucial to the case after we requested them 3 times. He even said in trial that the medical records would be helpful to have. He was all over the place during trial and seemed not to have reviewed the case AT ALL prior to testimony. He stated respondants mental health had nothing to do with the cause of child abuse. Respondant self proclaimed this was the sole reason for abuse... He then acted extremely unprofessional by disclosing confidential information from an unrelated case involving a witness that he was GAL for. This had nothing to do with my case and should not have been brought in to it just because he was disgruntled by the outcome. He made recommendations that were inappropriate for the circumstances and did not follow the stipulations HE PLACED from his report. Extremely unsatisfied that this is who was assigned to my case and my child now has to suffer with a known and founded child abuser. Poor kid!!!"

"Hes a joke he didnt no put any of my answers in my paper and then all the answers to my ex in his paper I would not recomend him at all he rushed through it and it was just a joke and unfair I at least expected to get a fair response but nope so avoiding him at all cost"
