"Really beautiful views and if you like traipsing around exploring ruins, this place is great! However, I don’t know if this guy works for the park or just hangs out or is the one squatting in the ruins (if not him, someone IS living there so be careful!) but this creepy older white guy was following me around. He passed me THREE times on the trail and then followed me across the street when I went to read the historical plaque. I ran to my car and got out of there. Who just follows a lone woman around in the woods? Watch out for him! He has all the earmarks of a predator! Really a five star park but fear for my safety drops it to three. Go with a group!"
"This overlook is beautiful, both sides of the road. It is perfect for pictures and sight seeing. If you are riding the area it is a fun road to climb and descend. Both sides have ruins the sign side has steps to it the opposite side you have to hike a little way to see. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6"
"Stopped here on a long drive to stretch our legs, it was a great decision! Gorgeous views in all directions, wildflowers and intricate stone staircases within 5 minutes of walking."
"This is a quaint spot in Pulaski. Full panoramic view of the valley. Trail is well maintained. Lots of spots to sit, have lunch or take a moment to reflect. You wouldn't realize you're at such a high elevation until you see the valley below. Yet another wonderful, beautiful spot to visit or walk/hike along the Blue Ridge. Appalachia is calling... Get out the house this Spring!"
"It's a heck of a climb up this mountain so be prepared to gear down coming and going. Parking areas on both sides of the roadway, with both sides featuring excellent views of the valleys on either side. Pictures are from the southbound side; an old picnic/fire shelter that doesn't appear to have been maintained in some time, but still bears signs of recent use."
