"Michele Stafford, DO is my primary physician who I see regularly. I've been blessed to have had great care from my youth and into my adult life. I was a patient of Dr. Richard Van Cal Car until he retired, and once he retired I have to admit I was worried and concerned about how I was going to handle a new doctor treating me. Dr Van Cal Car in my opinion was one of the best doctors in this area, he was more like a close friend to me when I would need to be seen for an illness or a regular check up. If I needed a referral to a specialist he knew exactly who to send me to, and he was probably the smartest guy I've ever met. I have never had a female doctor treat me regularly, which isn't that I don't feel a woman can't do a man's job or anything like that, that is the complete opposite of the way I think and the way I feel, no my worry was more along the lines of my comfort during procedures that I had always seen a male doctor about such as physicals and such. I've been a patient of Michele Stafford for almost 7 years and she has not only been a good doctor, but she has more than exceeded my expectations, and she has shown time and time again that she truly cares about my health. She has helped me through painful emotional situations such as providing care for my mom who suffered a stroke, she has helped put me in touch with places to help me with other care that her office can't provide such as dental and vision needs.
