"Similar to what someone else already mentioned, they billed my insurance $393.00 for a wrist brace that you can get for $30 or less. You shouldn't have to set up a payment plan for a simple wrist brace. Unfortunately, my PCP was also pretty clueless about how all this works. Broken health care system indeed."

"Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Everyone tries to pressure you into paying the whole amount of the bill without providing any kind of alternative. They barely try to advertise paying online and hit you with a late fee even if you've arranged a payment plan. I would give it negative stars if possible."

"They like to try to scam Veterans. If you are 100% disabled the VA is supposed to cover everything. There might be a copay, but those rarely happen anymore. Regardless I received a bill. No one informed me that I would be responsible for any payment before, during, or after my time at the hospital. Out of all the mystery numbers that I've ignored I never got any Voicemails at all, let alone any regarding my visit. So not only did I get a mystery bill, but I got a mystery bill with a delinquent fee on it. Out of all the things I said, the person i spoke to when I called made sure I knew that the full amount included a late fee. Maybe to try, and make it seem not as bad I guess? She wouldn't even tell me what the bill was for, she just kept referring to a "packet," and "resources" without explaining anything until I demanded to know what she even meant. Regardless, that late fee? It's a quarter of the entire amount I owe. Maybe there's a reason Veterans stop asking for help? Mystery Medical Bills must be part of all those handouts people keep tellin me I get."

"Pacific Medical Inc provided us with a STARband helmet for our baby. We had ongoing appointments with them for three months to adjust the helmet and check our son's progress. Dr. Randy Tuttle and his team were kind, accommodating, and great with our little one. The entire process was stress-free, and they were incredibly flexible with scheduling appointments. We also got the outcome we were looking for: the helmet got rid of our baby's flat spot and corrected the asymmetry we were seeing. I'd highly recommend them for prostheses. The facility is small, but well equipped, and the staff are wonderful and competent."
