Club Detour

"We came as a part of Santacon 2023 and it was both my wife and I’s first time. We both died and went to heaven. The women were so beautiful, confident, charismatic, and just amazing. The very first dancer I had an experience with was on stage and just stole my soul. The music is great, the dancers are great, the environment is great, everything is clean. I could not have asked for a better first experience at all. The dancers were asking us questions about our night, dancing on us, touching us, and just being so kind. It was wonderful and we are already making plans to come back! They do have an ATM and the bartender will give you singles. My only complaint was the lack of security for the dancers, we walked in off the street behind a group of gentlemen who were patted down when they entered. When we got up to the bouncer he checked our ID’s but did not check my purse, did not check my friends purse, and did not pat my wife down. Both my friend and I had pepper spray and pocket knives in our purses and my wife had a pocket knife in her pocket as well since we had been walking around Portland all night and needed to protect ourselves. Thank god we are not but what if we were psychos or something and wanted to come in there to hurt the dancers? Security needs to thoroughly check every single person to avoid a tragedy happening!! LGBT FRIENDLY//SAFE BATHROOMS//NO ENTRY FEE//KIND AND BEAUTIFUL DANCERS//PAID STREET PARKING//CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT"

"Actually had attractive dancers working not hairy drug addicted junkys like some other places.And the staff took great care of my party. Reggae in a strip club was something I never experience before and I don't know why not the vibe was perfect thank you detour!"

"One of the worst clubs I've ever been to in Portland. Overpriced nonsense but whatever, let the tourists learn, but then I kept encountering their dancers going to other clubs in the area and forcibly dragging customers over there. It's so gross and desperate. Really demonstrates their terrible ethics. Update: the owners response is not true. They were not there to visit the bartender, they never got drinks or spoke to the bartender and the bartender confirmed they did not know them. Second, the dancers specifically said they had been sent by their manager to "poach" customers and even confirmed that when I individually confronted her about it. This is not a competitor review because I've also been to your club and this is interaction demonstrates your club culture and ethics."

"Went at midnight on a Sunday. Reasonably clean, stage is very approachable, dancers are varied. Security was polite and diligent. I think the dancers are more bold and ask more for the private room champagne or drinks/chat hostess thing. Still regular stage dancing with poles but nothing noteworthy. Not a bad place by any means but I’m more there for the stage dancing than being personal with the performers. Music is mostly rap. I did think it was odd one dancer was off stage with a guys arm wrapped around her waist. I just hope he was her partner or something because from my understanding strip clubs are pretty strict with the no touching policy and I guess with these sorts of places I worry there’s things going on I’d rather not be involved with. I don’t know if that’s the case here or not but I dipped before I found out."
