"Excellent view of Columbia River and the ocean. There is wide open pasture, but people tend to take about 15 min tops walking around this bsttery and heading back."

"There is so much history here and tons to explore! The old military base/buildings give you a creepy vibe, but it’s an interesting feeling you get as you explore all the broken down buildings that men once battled, lived, and had meals in many years ago! My husband was in the Army. He gets spooked by “ghosts” so he was very hesitant about exploring the Forts. After our trip to Olympic National Park we came over this way and he really appreciated this portion of our trip. We tried to see as much as we could, but it could take a few days to see everything. We also played a little disc golf after noticing they just added a nice course! Our 5 & 3 year old had a blast throwing and retrieving the frisbees."
