Alder Creek Cabin

"This is a must see cabin. It is surrounded by lush forest, waterfront to the river and has amazing things available. You can walk all over the property including around the owners home. There are two ponds with fish, hot tub, sauna, full kitchen, fireplace with wood available, hidden gems that I will not ruin for others. I am hoping to visit when it is warmer so I can use the outdoor firepit and bbq and spend more time around the property. If you come up for winter, be aware of the highway 26 fog or cloud bank that you can hit. Maps took me right to gate. Will be back!"

"Both Greg and I wanted a place quiet, no tragic sounds no people yelling and screaming.. We a wanted place to de-compress from our working lives. It is an amazing cabin inside and out , an amazing soaking tub inside and outside there is a hot tub and dry sauna which we used a lot… there is a walking trail to the river, we walked along the river for awhile and finding some rocks to add to our collection. At nite we would start the wood fire place and watch tv … was so nice and cozy. The upstairs main bedroom was amazing ,the bed was like you were sleeping in clouds, it was soooooo soft and comfy. We brought alot of our own food so we would not have to drive anyplace for meals if we did not want to go out. It has a full kitchen with a washer and dryer. I think we found a yearly place to go to to decompress. We met the owners of the cabin on our last afternoon there … They are soooo nice,fun to talk with and learn about the history of the cabin."

"Perfect, peaceful, private getaway. Loved the comfortable, classic cabin and the lush grounds. Spent lots of time on the deck and in the spa and sauna. We'll be back!!"

"Best peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. We enjoyed the gardens, sauna, hot tub and the river, not to mention the two Scottie dogs, Stuart and Misty were a delight for our son to play with as well as the cat. It was an absolute delight."

Everything was clean and lovely, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to go back. The owners of the property Coni, Terry, and Mary are all absolutely wonderful. Helpful, respectful and kind. It is very rare to find owners that go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is as good as it can be!
