My previous counselor left the practice and no one has understood the way this transition has affected me and understood that I can't handle this at this part of my life. "Update at bottom I really liked my therapist, but she decided to move on from MCFS and talk therapy. Since this wasn't a sudden decision and there was plenty of notice, we had the hopes of a smooth transition to another therapist. From my understanding she had a list of recommended replacements, people she thought would be a good fit for me. MCFS Scheduling told her they would take care of it. Despite her telling Scheduling multiple times to contact me for future therapy arrangements, they didn't contact me until days after my last session had passed. And even then, they sent an email only asking about my time availability. That showed to me they didn't try to make it a smooth transition even with many weeks of notice. I had a lapse of coverage which I was hoping to avoid, and which I thought was avoidable. This gave me a lot of anxiety, the very thing I was there to fix. And I'm not sure if they considered the replacement therapists my therapist suggested. I trust my therapist did her best to make the transition as easy as possible for me, and was very considerate of my anxiety about it. If she was supposed to be more involved, Scheduling should have told her. But if they never make those arrangements until the end of a client/patient journey, they should have told her & they should have told me directly. I expected MCFS to call me to tell me the plan, and they let me down. I felt abandoned and un-cared for by MCFS. I expected better treatment & understanding of anxiety by a counseling company. Are their other therapists good? Yea, probably. But my experience with their admin group led me to find care elsewhere. Edit/Update: Dayna did reach out to me personally to apologize for the experience and said they are updating processes and procedures to avoid this in the future. She was very kind, so there is potential it's improved."

"Tedashi's review is 100% accurate. These people never call back, never confirm any information with you, and always take forever getting back to your email, if AT ALL. I've had to send follow up emails on multiple occasion. They never pick up the phone, which would have less voicemail if they did. Pretty sure all their review is from employees since yelp has them rate at 2.5 stars. Especially this Chuck person who seems to have weird accounts giving them 5 star reviews. Couldn't even schedule anything here and they're just wasting my time when I was trying to book something for two weeks."
