"Great museum, just be sure to keep Anna Lee's photo displayed, quilt that Aunt Dot helped with, key collection that my Gram and Uncle Marvin made, and of course the "Ghost"."

"Not open yet, but the grounds, trails, and pond are open. Self guided tour in historic ironville along Putnam creek. Ice fishing on the pond for pike, snow shoeing trails in winter. Museum, when open is small and very enjoyable. Great 2-4 hr. ADK visit."

"We stand on the shoulders of giants. Visit the Penfield Museum to learn how applying the ideas of Joseph Henry, one of those giants, resulted in the first industrial use of electric current. The unit for inductance, the Henry, honors his contributions."
