"Stopped by on my way to the Franklin public library. It's a lovely and majestic monument that makes a great photo opportunity and adds to the history of the town. It is also an inspiration to the younger generation to learn about the history of this country"

"I sincerely hope you are able to visit. Franklin has the first public library in the country and is the birthplace of the first public school. It was established by Thomas Mann."

"The Benjamin Franklin statue at the Franklin Public Library is really great. Take a walk around the downtown area from the library to the common. Franklin's library is active for taking out items: books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and more. Use your Minuteman library account to find and check out items. They have kits & programs set up for kids to borrow. Check out the statue and pick up some books, etc. from the library."
