"Edith has been very welcoming, kind and caring to our littlest and our whole family. We have had some family emergencies come-up and Edith was very accomodating and empathetic in our time of need. Furthermore, we absolutely feel safe leaving Abby in her care and most importantly, Abby loves going to daycare. Whenever I pick up or drop off Abby, the kids are playing and are happy. "My son started at Portillo Daycare a little less than a year ago. Before that, I'd never left him alone with anyone outside of immediate family. On his first day, we were both nervous/emotional, but I had a good feeling about Edith and her home; and felt comfortable leaving him in her care. He hadn't been around other kids much at that point, so at first he would basically just wait quietly for me to pick him up. After about two weeks, he was making friends and socializing/playing with the other kids. Then he was interacting more with other kids in our neighborhood, and is just excited to ring the doorbell and run inside every morning! Even noticed him picking up after himself more after playtime at home without being asked. Her home is always clean, a play house and tons of toys set up in a fenced backyard. Edith (Mrs.E) is very communicative, patient and caring; with both children and parents lol He's entering preschool soon, and I'm sad he's gonna be leaving, but I'd seriously recommend to anyone looking for child care! ❤️"
