Reviews
"Such great history in the building and the lady has the back story on everything we had an amazing time listening to her stories, we look forward to going back and listening to more next time we are in town!"
"It's a small addition to a local business. Donations accepted. I really liked it. I learned a few things. However, I left the place having a bad asthma flare for about a half hour. If allergies, especially dust, is a problem, possibly sit this out"
"Arrived to find the museum closed for the season in a tourist area. Sign stated the museum will reopen in March 2023."
"Exceeded expectations! So many authentic things in large variety with facts and donors recognized. I'm not a museum person, just went to keep husband company, but was so impressed that I looked for the donation box at this free museum. Place includes a very nice gift shop next door with many ice cream flavors and a big nursery with plants and shrubs. Highly recommend The stop at this friendly interesting place of local history."
"Worth the stop! It is free (takes donations). The owner has amazing stories to tell about her family and the history of the area. I highly recommend taking your time to look and listen. She makes beautiful corn husk dolls. Fascinating stuff! Thank you, Karen!"
