Crowne Plaza Seattle-Downtown, an IHG Hotel 1113 6th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

"I've stayed at this hotel often throughout the years for business but am unlikely to return. We arrived a little early and were notified that the parking lot was full. The staff didn't assist with locating alternate parking and once you locate off site parking, you have to walk back and forth, in the rain. If you use your car, you have to pay new charges every time you leave and return to the parking garage. With extensive construction on the street, the walk to and from off site parking is more challenging. The construction inside the building is extensive, messy, and there is almost no lobby, check in space. Daytime staff were abrupt and unfriendly. Nighttime staff were nice. Areas of the hotel were very dirty. I've enjoyed staying in this hotel in the past but am unlikely to stay in the future. I would say the hotel is now about a 2 star facility at 4 star prices."

"Nice hotel at a nice location. A special thank you to the ladies at the front desk (Katie, and another blonde girl whose name I did not catch). My room key wasnt working the day of check-out and I was a bit anxious about running late, but the ladies were super kind and had such calming energy. Katie walked up with me to the room to make sure the new key worked okay. They were both very helpful."

"Outside of the hotel can get a little odd at night being in downtown Seattle (people tweaking outside, etc.), but this place does a great job with making sure that stays outside. Once inside, you need a room key to even access the elevator. Overall, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and they offer an amazing view of Seattle. Shower has awesome water pressure/good temperature, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is in close proximity to a Link stop, so it’s easy to get in from the airport."

"Delivered a solid two star experience. Unfortunately they called it four stars and charged as if it was. Great view and location. They gave us rough single ply TP in the bathroom. This is the first time in my life I was forced to wear a double canister respirator overnight in bed in order to breathe in the room. Maybe it will be better someday when the undisclosed renovation project that was underway when we walked in completes. I don't plan to risk finding out for myself."

"Conveniently located, within walking distance to Pike Market, Lumen Field, and Climate Pledge Arena, we found it very easy to navigate the downtown core. The bed was super comfortable and the room was pretty clean. The view was lovely (Space Needle, city view) and the bathroom toiletries were good quality. We stayed for 3 nights. There was no daily room service, which was not advertised on the website. In itself not a huge deal but when you’re paying this much for a room it would be nice to get the service. We asked for some amenities such as coffee, sugar, and cream and they were just set down on the TV console. They didn’t even bother to put them away. The lounge was mediocre- and there was an automatic gratuity tacked onto the bill, so beware. The service did not warrant 18% but we were not given the opportunity to decide that. There are plenty of really great places to eat within walking distance and the automatic gratuity is not common practice in the downtown core. Overall I would consider staying here again if the price was competitive with some place that offered better services."
