Staybridge Suites Seattle Downtown - Lake Union, an IHG Hotel

"Most of the time staying in hotels is awful. Not here. The housekeeping is awesome. A woman with long black hair cleaned my room. She cleaned the toilet, carpet, mopped the floors. She cleaned the mirrors, every touch service imaginable, bedding and the rest. It was disinfected, and she left our stuff alone. She was so nice with the best personality! There's security, secure facility and courtyard, the front staff is professional, nicely dressed and helpful. Especially the woman with the Russian accent, she does a great job. There's parking although somewhat limited due to location, still it seems to accommodate more vehicles than you think it could which is nice. The gym isn't actually that bad. Its somewhat spacious, several treadmills and ellipticals, as well as weights and I think there might a pull bar, bike and some basic stuff like balls. The courtyard is pretty, maples and shrubs... feels very private. Has a BBQ grill, some kind of fancy fire pit thing and lots of seating. The bar is sprawling and seems to have friendly staff, it draws a nice sized crowd at night. Best part is that it's mostly low key and not a bunch of crazies or drunks. The crowd that stays here seems mature and clean. No rowdiness or bad behavior either, and it seems like the staff would take it seriously if it happened. It's not loud either which is surprising for a hotel. Run the fan if you need it extra quiet. The only thing I might change is the size of our room. Its a suite and has nice big windows, but I was hoping it would be a tad larger. Not anyones fault really and it's still adequate and well stocked with applicances/silverware and anything you could need along with a functioning full size fridge! The breakfast is really good actually. Just your basic americana but you can get a good meal out of it. I would recommend this place to my friends for sure and I will!"

"I came all the way from Michigan and came here for my birthday trip, and the service so so good!!! When I was greeted at the front desk I was given an upgraded room just for being a rewards member! The bar service was exceptional though, Kristen made amazing drinks and made our night fun and special. Thank you and I can’t wait to come back!"

"Beautiful place but upon checking in, the room wasn’t clean. I Found someone’s clothes on top of the shelf in closet behind the extra pillows. Pillows smelt like it wasn’t changed. Hand prints were seen on headboard. (I’m sure you get the picture) which is GROSS!! parking sucks and very tight. As for breakfast, it’s alright but the sausages they serve isn’t cooked all the way. Staff has been very nice though."

"DO NOT STAY HERE IF DRIVING Rooms are fine. Service was fine. Location was fine. Parking was abysmal. Paid $45 to park in spots too small for even a Toyota Camry to fit in, let alone an SUV. Had to crawl out passenger side to get out of my car. Cars on both sides of me scratched my car getting in and out of their lilliputian spaces. I could get a better breakfast at a 7-Eleven, and I wouldn't buy food at a 7-Eleven. The kitchen in the room is understocked. Sofa bed painful. Front desk nice but hands tied to fix issues."

"This Thanksgiving week, we stayed at Staybridge Suites in downtown Seattle, and it was a great experience. The hotel situated in the heart of downtown, it's a stone's throw away from major attractions, shopping, and a variety of dining options. We particularly enjoyed the easy access to the Seattle Waterfront, Space Needle and Pike Place Market. The suite was a delightful surprise. Spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, it felt like a home away from home. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Breakfast at the hotel was a daily treat. With a wide range of options from hot scrambled eggs to fresh fruits, it was the perfect start to each day. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, with staff constantly on hand to assist. We had a minor incident regarding the final bill, but the hotel team took care of it quickly. Shout out to the on-duty manager, Tracy! Overall, my stay at Staybridge Suites Seattle Downtown was exceptional. Its combination of comfort, convenience, and friendly service made my Thanksgiving week memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle, especially during the holiday season!"
