"I was in Seattle for a work trip last week and stayed three nights at Hotel Five. It's a great location, it took me less than five minutes to walk to where I needed to be for work and less than twenty to be at Pikes Place market. All the staff I spoke to were really helpful and me feel very welcome. The room was great - clean, spacious and I really appreciated the European duvets on the bed and the teas available for the coffee maker. The fitness suite is small but functional, and I was glad of the treadmills in the cold weather. I'd love to stay here again if the opportunity arises."
"Fantastic experience! The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. Huge shout out to Samson and all the front desk staff for being so helpful and making me feel pretty cozy there! Only thing missing from the rooms are a microwave and mini fridge, but there’s a microwave in the lounge and they brought up a mini fridge right when I checked in and asked for it, free of charge. Cool atmosphere, great walkable location, wish I could stay the week!"
"This is a 5 star hotel for me... I was in 525, King bed suite. Room was spacious, had separate living room area to eat and amazon prime and chill, able to connect your phone to watch your apps you pay for on TV. The TV programs on there were shotty because it was bad weather and it must be satellite. It had a mini fridge, coffee maker, good size closet and enough drawer space. The rooms had windows you can crack open for fresh air, and also had heater/ac units (2ea). The bathroom was awesome, good flushing toilet, double sink, good lighted mirror and what was really cool was the walk in shower, it had 3 spouts a top/middle and bottom, I've never seen this before in my life! The bed was comfy, 2 comforters one for each person, if your a blanket hog. 2 goose down pillows each, and one body pillow. Of course I used the body pillow! :) The service was great, they will clean your room if you request so, the last of the 3 night stay they cleaned the room without request and I left expensive items out, and nothing was missing, so in short you can trust them. Desk downstairs the workers were nice and helpful and friendly, they represent Seattle people well and the employees of Hotel Five Staypineapple Hotel well! The location was awesome, you can walk everywhere we needed to get to, its very centralized. towards pike market there were some bums and street folks, but they didn't bother anyone, but might not want to walk by there too late. I really have no complaints, if your taking a car, the parking is pricey and there is no place to park in Seattle without paying an arm and a leg. Overall a great experience, my first trip to Seattle to check things out. I give this place 5 stars and would recommend to family and friends as well as return for another stay!"
"The hotel was such a great experience... from the staff Samson, Jordan and others being so polite to explain details and every available option. I must admit this is a rare trait in customer service these days. The location was excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by all the little details during the stay that we will never find in any of the typical hotels! The large Scrabble board on the wall, Shuffle board (which was a big hit), board games, seating to relax and unwind were all such a great experience for folks who are on a visit. I have to mention the pineapple water, water for rooms, free beverages, cookies etc. were a real treat. The mattress and quilt were so good - I've never been able to sleep in a typical hotel - you changed that!!! We wanted a bit more time to vacate and your staff were so accommodating - they never rushed us at any point. All of this and so many other small details that you took care of - will definitely get us to lookout for pineapples! Michelle and team your ideas are nothing short of brilliant! Keep up the hospitality work... you are doing excellent."
"My partner and I decided to take a weekend trip to Seattle to explore and relax for a bit after a stressful month. It was my first time in Seattle and we were able to explore to a lot of amazing places which the convenience of the hotel’s location made it possible for us to do. The light rail and the monorail were within walking distance and it wasn’t too far off of walking distance to Pikes Place and other amazing bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was comfortable, clean, and I loved the fun theme behind it. I was a fan of the duvets and the pineapple themed items in the room. The staff were also very friendly and I love how we were given complimentary drinks and unlimited water which we both really appreciate. The major downside to our stay was the noise. Our room was located facing the roads which can very loud especially when emergency services had their sirens on, cars with loud exhausts were racing by, or when the monorail passes by which I understand can’t be helped. However, we also had a very lively group of people staying across from us on our second night, partying and hanging out to like 3-4am in the morning! The thin walls made it so we can literally hear their conversation when they were hanging out in the hallway and them yelling when they were in their room. I probably only had an hour of sleep at best that night and was exhausted the next morning. Even though we were just here for the weekend to rest and to enjoy my first time in Seattle, I can’t help knowing we weren’t able to rest well in the comfort of the hotel after a long day of exploring this wonderful city. Despite having such a convenient location and a comfortable bed to sleep on, the restless nights made it very difficult to enjoy."
