"*Update: The year is 2023 and Dr. Shoquist is still my doctor and I’m still very happy with him* I've been going to Dr. Shoquist of Delphi Psychiatry for almost 5 years and I can honestly say I've never been happier in my life than I am right now. Lifelong depression, paralyzing anxiety, panic attacks, extreme highs and lows, suicidal thoughts, the list goes on, it was all having a debilitating effect on me. I've had my fair share of professionals throughout the years but it wasn't until the combination of Dr. Shoquist and medications did I start to see a light. He's a very straight-forward, perceptive and thorough doctor. I'm grateful to him and our teamwork because it's been 5 years and I'm still smiling."

"Please don't go here, all you will get is prescriptions, he will not listen to the root issue. I was suffering for sudden panic attacks, that I never had before, after a medical procedure. I told him I thought something was wrong and I had to go the ER. He looked at me and asked "Do you think people look at you and actually think you are sick? No, you are fine, if you carry on like this you are going to have heart surgery." He also said when I told him I was worried it was phyiscal, "well if that's the way you want to think about it" and then left the room. He wouldn't look at my medical records. Instead he kept giving me anti-anxieties me a lot worse. When I started to experience very bad side effects, he took a week to return my call. It turns out I was very sick physically. My iron was almost zero and it was starting to affect my heart. If he checked my records, he would have seen my cardiologist referral and that my continuous heart rate of over 120 bpm for a month straight was not in my head. Fortunately, now I am addressing the physical issues and am getting the help I need."

"I saw Dr.shoquost for almost a year. Judged me the second I walked in the door even though I did everything I was required he never even gave me a chance. Skip him as he is very unexperienced. Said he only focused on drug addiction yet when questioned about addiction questions his only answer was to go to an AA meeting. Told me "He could only Subscripe Suboxone." He gave me no advice and not even a proper look at my true issues which I told him was anxiety! He was not a help at all but a waste of time and money. Now I see his site talks about focusing on anxiety? His knowledge was very limited as my issue was aneixty and PTSD. Makes me wonder if this is just a scam. Why not take health insurance? Finally after a talking to a much more experienced doctor who in literally 30 minutes was able to diagnose my issues and provide more useful information than his swipe and write did in a year. I finally was aware of my real issues with my anxiety. Literally across the street a much more knowledgeable Dr. Casino who completely changed my life. I am free of my unhealthy lifestyle and my anxiety is controlled. I'm happier than ever really wish shoquist wasn't so focused on his own agenda which at the time was all about subs. Which wasn't a surprise since he was the only doctor in the harbor to be able to prescribe. My final advice is to skip this guy. He is a very unexperienced psychologist that seems to only how to swipe and write Scripts and not the ones you might actually needed."
