"My mom is applying for passport the first time and all USPS locations are all booked out for months and I found out about this location for drop-ins. It's a Wed and I called at 11am to see if it's okay to come in with a completely prepared application and required documents. The gentleman on the phone was nice and told us sure no problem. We can in around 12:30pm and there was about 3-4 people in front of us and there were 2 people working. The line moved fast as long as you had all your stuff ready. When I got to the front and apply with a gentleman (perhaps the one I spoke to in the morning?), it was quick, professional and I wrote 2 checks right at the table (quick tip: bring your check book or 2 empty checks with you) right there. From the time I arrived at the door to the time I left the facility, it was 20 minutes. Skip all the USPS appointment slot and go here mid day!"
