Rich's For the Home - Seattle

"Purchased a Lopi gas fireplace insert from the Tukwila location. After paying close to $8,000.00 total for the insert and installation the insert worked for 3 hours after installation as we were told to let it run for 3 hours before turning it off. It has not worked since and that was a month ago. After waiting almost 3 weeks Rich's finally sent a technician out and after being here for approximately 10 minutes and resetting a circuit breaker the fireplace worked. As soon as he left the circuit breaker tripped again and no fireplace again. After calling Rich's again letting them know the fireplace only worked for 10 minutes after being "fixed" they called their 3rd party service company. I was told again it would be another week and a half before they could get another technician out. I am beyond frustrated after paying that amount of money for the insert and installation and a month later I still don't have a working fireplace. I have no idea now when they come out again if or when it will be fixed and actually working. The only reason for not giving 1 star is the employees at Rich's have tried their hardest to resolve the issue sooner but unfortunately they use third party installers and service companies so it's out of theit control. That being said Rich's is responsible. Next time I will purchase elsewhere for sure."

I was impressed with all the new inserts and the options to choose from. Because of the great customer service I received I will be purchasing a gas insert for my cabin and I will buy from Milissa."

She offered to come out to my home if I needed but after calling my husband I was able to get the measurements we needed.
