About the Business

Shoreview Park

Shoreview Park, located in Shoreline, Washington, is a hidden gem offering a pair of back-to-back urban parks just west of Shoreline Community College. With tall trees, small creeks, and a network of trails, this park is a haven for nature lovers. Wildflowers, ferns, moss, and birds can be found throughout the park, making it a peaceful retreat for hikers and visitors. The park even features a "hidden" artificial lake, a remnant of its history as a private hunting and fishing preserve owned by William Boeing. As the city of Shoreline plans to remove the dam and restore the original flows to Boeing Creek, the future of Hidden Lake is uncertain. Visitors can explore the park's trails, enjoy views of the lake, and observe the diverse wildlife that calls this park home. Whether you're looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike, Shoreview Park offers something for everyone to enjoy in a beautiful natural setting.

"Beautiful park with tons of nice grass, 2 playgrounds for the kids, trails, and tennis/pickleball courts. It seems like people are confused thinking this is the off leash dog park though (which is nearby, closer to the community college campus). Many off leash dogs in all directions every time I come."

"This is a great little park with a couple of fields for different sports, a playground for younger children, and some courts for tennis and pickleball. The trails were amazing and I'll definitely be back to fully check them out when it hasn't recently rained! Definitely recommend this little gem!!"

"I love this place! There are so many trails, a beautiful viewpoint, a few tennis courts, two really cool children's playgrounds, a sports field, a baseball field, a large set of stairs great for stair stepping, as well as wheelchair accessibility, restrooms, and plenty of parking! In the summer there is a day camp for kids where they learn and play. It's my favorite park"

"There is a great collection of meandering trails to explore. Much of it is relatively light with only a few hills here an there. I often use this area as a quick way to get some greenery in my life or to walk around and take some nature photos. All this room to explore plus the sports and play equipment mean this area is a gem for family fun. Check out the nearby off-leash dog park too!"

"I love this park. They are currently doing some remodeling to the hidden lake, so a few places are inaccessible. Other than this, it is a nice big park with easy hikes, tennis courts, nice little trenches, baseball fields, playgrounds for kids, among other things. There's a good amount of parking inside so I wouldn't worry about that. There are restrooms onsite too."
