"Made an appt with one of the Parker Furniture designers, Maria, to view fabrics only. We don’t need new furniture but wanted to recover a mid-century modern 1960’s sofa that belonged to my parents. She was very accommodating, understood our need for fabric only and helped orient us to Parker’s extensive fabric selection. We took home several fabric samples and are still deciding. "I used Parker Furniture (designer Jennifer Parker Keys) to help me decorate and furnish my home in Salem, Oregon. The process took several years, but the results were worth the time and effort. I couldn’t be happier with the final results. When I would share with folks that I used Parker Furniture to furnish my home, I found some folks had incorrect perceptions about Parker Furniture, just because they are a high line furniture store. Are the products at Parker Furniture expensive? Yes. But you cannot beat the quality and the customer experience. Does Parker Furniture provide free design services with purchases? Yes, which benefits the customer by not having to hire an independent designer. Does Parker Furniture stand behind their sales? Yes. I recently had an issue with my American Leather motion sofa from Parker. On my behalf, Parker Furniture worked with American Leather and obtained and installed a new mechanism on the motion sofa. The repair was done in-house and was completed in days, not weeks. I would recommend anyone to work with Parker Furniture as you can be assured of quality products and some of the best customer service I have experienced in the Willamette Valley"
"Shopped carpet with Bruce. He was very helpful but their installation prices are off the charts. I spoke to Bruce as well as Jeff the owner, and their answer was basically take it of leave it, and they back the installers they use. We ended up placing our order elsewhere for over a $1,000 savings on the installation alone. Parker is a high end store that only wants the wealthy customers that are willing to over pay rather than shop around and be price conscience."
