"I called today on a recommendation for a standard adjustment. They asked my insurance and I explained that my insurance does not cover this, however, that I would pay cash. I was told that if you do not have coverage, they would not see me, even with Cash? Wow. Very selective to top paying insurance companies only. Be careful."

"DOUBLE CHARGING IS STANDARD. I went here in July for a chiropractic adjustment. My insurance company recommended it as an in network provider. My insurance said my copay would be $25.00. Upon entry I was charged as expected, the $25 copay for my insurance company. I payed. I received my adjustment and left. Months later I received a bill in the mail for an ADDITIONAL copay of $25. They called me and I explained that it was already paid the day of my visit. Lindsay then explained that since it was my first time as a patient I was billed additionally for an office visit. I explained that there was NO office visit and only an adjustment. She said that it was standard procedure for a specialist to bill the first appointment as an office visit AND an adjustment. I told her again that there was no office visit. She said it was the way my insurance does things. So I called my insurance and they said that they do not usually charge 2 co-pays for one visit/service. My insurance did a fraud report. Stano Chiropractic double charges services for new patients. It is the standard here! They are well aware that I was double charged. When I followed up with Lindsay to explain to her that my insurance company said it is the way Stano sent the claim; she said that they had no intention of scamming me. However that they are fully within their rights to charge me an additional copay since I was a new patient and Dr. Stano is a specialist. WARNING: If you are looking for a quick chiropractic adjustment, THEY WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOU. IT IS THE STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE and that IS FRAUD."

"Dr. Stano is amazing. First of all, there's a huge fish tank with cute fish to stare at! Secondly, she is super down to earth and doesn't make you feel like you're just a patient. Dr. Stano adjusted me in a way that 2 other chiropractors couldn't. I feel 100 times better and can do my job without pain. I highly recommend Dr. Stano!"
